Covenant House / CHAI
Apartments & Community Housing Management Corporation do

All applicants must meet the
Tenant Selection
Criteria to reside at Covenant House / CHAI
Apartments. These include but are not limited
to:

one person applies for a
unit, the Head of Household or Spouse must be 62 or
older.

This facility has a limited
number of units that have been made accessible for the
mobility impaired (e.g. with roll-in showers, wheelchair
accessible doorways, may or may not have cabinets under
kitchen work areas). Single applicants 18-62 years of
age will only be eligible to live in our complex if they
have a verifiable mobility impairment which requires these
specific design features.

All applicants must meet
current income limits set by HUD and must meet all current
HUD guidelines as stated in our Tenant Selection
Plan.

Applicants must be able to
complete the application process. Any necessary
accommodations must be communicated to the Director of
Admissions and will be provided for the applicant, within
reason.

All applicants must be
eligible to be placed on the wait list. No applicants
will be placed on the wait list prior to meeting eligibility
requirements.

All applicants must me able
to comply with the terms of their lease. Covenant
House / CHAI Apartments does not offer personal care,
nursing care, medical intervention, daily monitoring or any
other personal assistance. Housekeeping services are
available on a sliding scale fee to those who
qualify.
